It’s FOX Hunt Week!

Break out your gear! Break out your radios! Break out your skills! Come and HUNT the FOX!

The Playground Amateur Radio club is ready and we are going to have a fun time hosting the PARC FOX Hunt! Join in and seek out the prize!

Play ground Amateur Radio Club is proudly hosting a Fox Hunt! We will Begin at the club house in downtown Fort Walton Beach, where hunters will pay $5 each to hunt, and the winning Hunter will split the pot with the club! At the Fox’s location, we will be holding a BBQ for all participants at noon. If you would like to contribute a side dish, or have further questions regarding this event, please contact the Activities Director, Queenie at KQ4FRB@gmail.com
This is an all-ages event, and no license is required to hunt, as the Fox will be the only one transmitting! Come one, come all! Bring your friends and family to work as a team! Looking forward to seeing you all!

Have a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Thank you and Have a great Holiday Season! All who showed up for the Potluck and gift exchange sure had a great time! Representatives for  the Panhandle of Florida were all present from Playground Amateur Radio Club, North Okaloosa Amateur Radio Club, Walton County Amateur Radio Club, Okaloosa County ARES, Walton County ARES, Walton County CERT, and the Northern Florida Amateur Radio Relay League Assistant Section Manager!

Hats off to the creator and officiator of the event, the Playground Amateur Radio Club’s very own Activities Director, KQ4FRB! Queenie has been a ham less than a year but has become one of the Clubs strongest supporters and promoters. She worked hand in hand with the other clubs and organizations listed above to plan a date and coordinate all of the food, drinks, prizes, giveaways, and raffle items! This is an annual event and is one not to be missed! We will see which Club or Organization hosts next years! Stay tuned to you favorite ham Calendar with the Playground Amateur Radio Club for future events and more partnerships in Northwest Florida!
